When you use HitCV, we collect the following data to provide resume optimization services:

• Resume files you upload (PDF/DOCX) and their extracted text content
• Job descriptions you provide (text or screenshots)
• Conversation history between you and the AI Agent
• Basic account information (email, name) for authentication

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• AI-powered resume analysis, matching, and optimization
• Generating resume previews and PDF exports
• Maintaining version history so you can review and restore changes

We do NOT use your resume data to train AI models.

Your data is stored securely on our servers with encryption. You can delete your workspace at any time from the dashboard, which permanently removes all associated data including resumes, job descriptions, conversation history, and generated versions.

We use AI services to process your resume content. These services process your data in real-time and do not retain your data after processing is complete.

Your data is retained as long as your workspace exists. When you delete a workspace, all related data is permanently deleted. Account deletion removes all workspaces and personal data.

You have the right to:

• Access — View all your data through the dashboard and workspace
• Export — Download your resume as PDF at any time
• Delete — Remove any workspace or your entire account
